Received a great review from the The Villager on my Role as Emilia - "
That much is said, and more, in a frank discussion between Desdemona and Iago’s love, Emilia (Kubbi, in a particularly nuanced performance). It’s one of the play’s best scenes, with Emilia lashing out at the “childish jealousies” that are wreaking havoc with group cohesion and domestic tranquility. “Husbands must know,” she warns, that “their wives are human too: they see and smell and have all kinds of tastes for sweet and sour, as husbands have.” BY SCOTT STIFFLER http://thevillager.com/2014/02/06/its-a-love-revolution/
My second great review came from The New York Theater Review "Kubbi is a crowd-pleaser as Amelia who, in her multitude of wigs, offers Desdemona street knowledge and feminism from a Black woman’s perspective." by Aurin Squire
